Tough Mudder 2015. 5 teams from 5 different countries travels to Düsseldorf to participate in what's called probably the toughest event on the planet. Tough Mudder is NOT a race. You put camaraderie before your own time. You help your fellow mudders to complete the course. These statemants can be heard in the video where we kneel and swear the Tough Mudder pledge. We also swore that we overcome all fear. That we don't whine, only kids whine. Where I did my first TM the course was completely flat. Maybe one or two hills. Yesterday - omg... The course had an incline of 400m. And probably the same decline. And then there were the obstacles. Mud. Ice cold water. High fences. Tubes to crawl through etc etc. I raced with some of the finest athletes in Sweden. One of us is a ninja warrior. One of us is aiming at a spot in Sweden's official OCRteam and has won several OCRraces. And one of us is a slow marathonrunner without upperbody strength. I felt obliged to really step up my game and deliver my best of the best. Beast mode: ON. Let's just say; without my team I wouldn't have done half as well as I did. They pushed me up the hills (literally shoving me in front), they acted as springboards on the high obstacles and when we jumped in the icy water, they pulled me out when my gasp reflex made me hyperventilate. Tough Mudder 2015 is, hands down, the hardest event I've done. I'm immensely proud over myself and my team and are looking forward to the next Tough Mudder event. Thank you @nokiantyrescom for making this possible. Team Sweden will always #goalltheway! 👊 Thanks to @superkroppen @marcelloleonardor @neitipeippo @niemijj @pekkafront @l.a.u.r.a.s.i @running.chris @tehdaspaallikko @vsumstad for making this weekend an awesome experience! #toughenough #nokiantyres #toughmudder #toughmuddergermany #toughmuddergirls #finisher #legionnaire
